3. “राजाओं, सुनो। शासकों, ध्यान दो। मैं गाऊँगी। मैं स्वयं यहोवा के प्रति गाऊँगी। मैं यहोवा, इस्राएल के लोगों के परमेश्वर की स्तुति करूँगी।

4. “हे यहोवा, अतीत में तू सेईर देश से आया। तू एदोम प्रदेश से चलकर आया, और धरती काँप उठी। गगन ने वर्षा की। मेघों ने जल गिराया।

5. पर्वत काँप उठे यहोवा, सीनै पर्वत के परमेश्वर के सामने, यहोवा, इस्राएल के लोगों के परमेश्वर के सामने!

6. “अनात का पुत्र शमगर के समय में याएल के समय में, मुख्य पथ सूने थे। काफिले और यात्री गौण पथों से चलते थे।

7. “कोई योद्धा नहीं था। इस्राएल में कोई योद्धा नहीं था, हे दबोरा, जब तक तुम न खड़ी हुई, जब तक तुम इस्राएल की माँ बन कर न खड़ी हुई।

10. “श्वेत गधों पर सवार होने वाले लोगो तुम, जो कम्बल की काठी पर बैठते हो और तुम जो राजपथ पर चलते हो, ध्यान दो!

11. घुंघरूओं की छमछम पर, पशुओं को लिए पानी वाले कूपों पर, वे यहोवा की विजय की कथाओं को कहते हैं, इस्राएल में यहोवा और उसके वीरों की विजय—कथा कहते हैं। उस समय यहोवा के लोग नगर—द्वारों पर लड़े और विजयी हुये!

12. “दबोरा जागो, जागो! जागो, जागो गीत गाओ! जागो, बाराक! जाओ, हे अबीनोअम के पुत्र अपने शत्रुओं को पकड़ो!

4. യഹോവേ, നീ സേയീരിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുകയിൽ, ഏദോമ്യദേശത്തുകൂടി നീ നടകൊൾകയിൽ, ഭൂമി കുലുങ്ങി, ആകാശം പൊഴിഞ്ഞു, മേഘങ്ങൾ വെള്ളം ചൊരിഞ്ഞു,

5. യഹോവാസന്നിധിയിൽ മലകൾ കുലുങ്ങി, യിസ്രായേലിൻ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു മുമ്പിൽ ആ സീനായി തന്നേ.

6. അനാത്തിൻ പുത്രനാം ശംഗരിൻ നാളിലും, യായേലിൻ കാലത്തും പാതകൾ ശൂന്യമായി. വഴിപോക്കർ വളഞ്ഞ വഴികളിൽ നടന്നു.

7. ദെബോരയായ ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുംവരെ, യിസ്രായേലിൽ മാതാവായെഴുന്നേല്ക്കുംവരെ നായകന്മാർ യിസ്രായേലിൽ അശേഷം അറ്റുപോയിരുന്നു.

8. അവർ നൂതനദേവന്മാരെ വരിച്ചു; ഗോപുരദ്വാരത്തിങ്കൽ യുദ്ധംഭവിച്ചു. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നാല്പതിനായിരത്തിൻ മദ്ധ്യേ പരിചയും കുന്തവും കണ്ടതേയില്ല.

9. എന്റെ ഹൃദയം യിസ്രായേൽനായകന്മാരോടു പറ്റുന്നു; ജനത്തിലെ സ്വമേധാസേവകരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിൻ.

10. വെള്ളക്കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു കയറുന്നവരേ, പരവതാനികളിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവരേ, കാൽനടയായി പോകുന്നവരേ, വർണ്ണിപ്പിൻ!

11. വില്ലാളികളുടെ ഞാണൊലിയോടകലേ നീർപ്പാത്തിക്കിടയിൽ അവിടെ അവർ യഹോവയുടെ നീതികളെ യിസ്രായേലിലെ ഭരണനീതികളെ കഥിക്കും. യഹോവയുടെ ജനം അന്നു ഗോപുരദ്വാരത്തിങ്കൽ ചെന്നു.

12. ഉണരുക, ഉണരുക, ദെബോരയേ, ഉണരുക, ഉണർന്നു, പാട്ടുപാടുക. എഴുന്നേൽക്ക, ബാരാക്കേ, അബീനോവാമാത്മജാ. നിന്റെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോക.
